Bringing the people element to a company that focuses on chat based artificial intelligence.
We set out to find a way to bring the human element into a company that focuses on using artificial intelligence to give superpowers to chatbot operators. We wanted to lift the level from being directly about the tech through visuals, and this new brand system allows Unbabel to visually connect with people as that's what their system does at the end of the day.

Using an abstracted version of the Unbabel logo, we found a way to play peek-a-boo with people to humanize what would otherwise feel cold and not personable.
Bringing a sense of soul to the AI and Natural Language Processing fields is no easy task.
Fresh, inviting, personable are all core elements of Unbabel's new brand system. We used this duality notion of AI/Human to showcase pairings that play off each other in a fun and active way.
We set to build the new brand extension with the notion of the human element being lifted visually to help bridge the gap of machine learning and the actual operators that connect with the client's customers. A strong peek-a-boo feel helped add the emotional spark that we were looking to achieve.
Elevating the human element to be greater than the AI side of the brand connects emotionally.
