The first site for the first single barrel, single malt Irish whiskey.
Limavady approached us with the challenge of how to launch a digital brand for their first release of a very special whiskey. We dove into the brand elements to craft a visual system that went alongside of the already developed packaging system. Leaning into cultural heritage of the brand, and the specific town of Limavady allowed us to choose specific design elements to help show off the brand at launch.

3D Rendering
We started with a 3D rendering the distinctive bottle design to help show off the uniqueness, allowing us to animate the elements to let the liquid take a lead. From there we story-boarded the opening sequenece to help introduce a first time to market product in a playful but clear way.
Garnering 5+ awards shortly after launching, this Irish whiskey is setting the stage for single malt lovers through the US and Europe.
A blend of heritage feeling type mixed with fresh visuals deployed both on the site and through social, helps unify this new product release.
We extended the packaging brand guidelines with some additional typefaces to help punch up the entire system, while retaining what was originally developed. The mix of old and new can be seen with the typographic selections which help grab attention and further define the brand.
After a soft launch website deployment and then the launch of the full site, the brand is poised to be a contender in the Irish whiskey category. The fresh use of animation for the site helps showcase the traditional nature of the brand’s beginnings, while amplifying the vibe that is unique to Limavady.
