A craft digital experience
Re-envisioning the digital ecosystem for this globally recognized brand meant introducing the whole Beam digital team to more data on responsive design. By helping to educate the team on latest digital trends and how they play into their business world, UON was able to push things further for the Knob Creek brand. And finally, by digging into user expectations for an actual craft brand, key new insights were uncovered, leading to results we’re quite proud of.
Adopting a strategy-first mentality, educating all parties, and making sure everyone is comfortable with the steps is a must before implementing designs. Even for a global brand like Knob Creek, the bulk of the project’s first phase revolves around educating on wireframes and low fidelity mockups and making sure people are okay with thinking in new ways.

How did the new site perform?
Not on the rocks.
After a few tweaks for a better user interface, the Knob Creek site hit a new level of engagement. And engage they did.
Crafting an online label maker was a huge hit with site visitors and, the experience was optimized to work responsively. Not only was there a big jump in custom labels generated by emphasizing this sticky section on the Knob Creek site but, UON streamlined the approach further by adding a function for batching files and sending them on directly to a printer to fill orders.
